Surf & Sun are a licensed surf school with Surfing Australia and have won numerous tourism awards including 2013 Best Adventure Tourism South Australia and a silver in 2014.
Surf & Sun's lessons are 2 hours duration, they include all the equipment such as safe soft surf boards, full length Rip Curl wetsuits, rash top and suncream.
Lessons are held at Moana beach next to the surf life saving club on the esplanade.
All instructors hold level 1 surf coach certificate plus surf rescue, working with children certificate and first aid.
