Your day begins with a pick-up, where our driver will check you in. You will also receive your Kuranda Boarding Pass, which includes a detailed itinerary and timings for your day, as well as your Kuranda Scenic Rail & Skyrail Rainforest Cableway tickets. Enjoy some interesting commentary as you are transferred to Freshwater Station where you will start your Kuranda Scenic Rail journey at 9.50am. This historic train will meander its way to Kuranda, passing through tunnels and past beautiful waterfalls and provides eye-catching views over Cairns. Once you arrive in Kuranda, you can choose how to spend your free time. There are numerous cafes and restaurants to purchase a snack or lunch and the Heritage Markets operate daily, offering a variety of items including locally made souvenirs. Or maybe visit one of the popular attractions and use your discount vouchers. At your designated time of 3.45pm, embark on your Skyrail Rainforest Cableway experience. You will appreciate the beautiful scenery and you travel over and through the world heritage rainforest. You can disembark at the two stations enroute, which offer boardwalks through the rainforest and scenic lookouts. Your Skyrail journey finishes at the Smithfield Terminal, where you will find our representative co-ordinating your return journey.
