Whale Watching Tour

North Queensland Island Charters offers a exceptional whale watching experience in the Great Barrier Reef & Whitsundays region of Queensland, Australia. From June to September, visitors can partake in their 4-5 hour tour around Palm Island and Orpheus Island, two hot spots for humpback whales during their migratory season.

During the tour, guests will have the opportunity to observe mothers and calves resting and young juveniles practicing their breaching and jumping skills in the calm waters surrounding the islands. The tour also makes a stop at Yanks Jetty, located on Orpheus Island, where guests can enjoy a provided lunch, take a quick snorkel, and explore the beautiful coral gardens and tropical fish.

In addition to humpback whales, the tour may also offer sightings of manta rays and other marine life. In 2020, two fur seals were even spotted and photographed by a passenger.
