Region X offers a unique Glass Bottom Kayak Tour in the pristine Cullendulla Nature Reserve, located in the beautiful Wollongong & South Coast region of NSW, Australia. This 2-hour experience is often referred to as a ''Wildlife Safari'', where guests can uncover the hidden creatures of this protected sanctuary zone.
With innovative Perspex portholes, guests can view the intricate underwater world below, with the possibility of sighting stingrays, crabs, fish, octopus and much more. The tour also offers the chance to see dolphins playing, kangaroos grazing on the shore, and soaring sea eagles.
As you float through the mangrove maze, you''ll learn about the significance of this coastal vegetation and the protected species that call this area home. The tour also delves into the Reserve''s fascinating Aboriginal history.
Region X provides all the necessary equipment, including kayaks, paddles, and personal flotation devices. They also offer a kayaking lesson before the tour, making it accessible for first-time paddlers. Delicious, healthy snacks and photographs of your adventure are also included.
This tour runs twice a day, with the morning tour recommended for the best conditions and most wildlife activity. Please note that a minimum of 4 participants is required to run the tour.
