Trial Introductory Flight

Tristar Aviation, a leading flight school in Tasmania, offers an incredible opportunity to experience the thrill of flying a light aircraft with their introductory training flight. Based in Launceston, this experience is perfect for those who have always dreamed of taking to the skies and learning to fly.

During this session, you will receive approximately 30 minutes of hands-on flying time with a professional instructor. The experience begins with a pre-flight briefing, where you will learn about the functions of the aircraft''s controls. After a pre-flight inspection of your training aircraft, you will take a seat inside and take off for your first flying lesson.

As you soar up to 1500-2500ft, you will have the opportunity to take control of the aircraft and experience all the sensations of flying. Following the flight, you can discuss any questions you have on flight training with your instructor.

This experience is perfect for anyone who wants to learn to fly or is interested in aviation. It is an excellent way to get a taste of what pilot training is like and to see if it is the right fit for you. The session lasts for 90 minutes, including a briefing and approximately 30 minutes in the air. Bookings can be made seven days a week during daylight hours.

To participate, you must be at least 15 years old, and there are weight restrictions for those who weigh 100kg or more. Spectators are allowed, but due to COVID-19, it is recommended that only one person accompanies the participant.
