Djaadjawan Dancers, a 100% Aboriginal-owned and operated cultural experience provider in Regional NSW, invites you to join a 2-hour cultural storytelling experience with local Yuin Elder and knowledge holder, Vivienne Mason. This tour offers a unique opportunity to learn about Traditional Creation and Totem stories, gaining insights into practices specific to the local Yuin people.

The tour takes place at the Narooma Visitor Information Centre, where Vivienne shares her strong cultural knowledge and values, describing family structures, kinships, and beliefs. She also recounts her experiences of growing up on Country, living off the sea, gathering traditional foods and natural resources, and engaging in frontline politics.

Vivienne, a well-known traditional dancer and the eldest traditional dancer on the South Coast, leads the Djaadjawan Dancers, an all-Aboriginal Women''s Dance Group. During the tour, she proudly shares her family''s traditional recipes, artwork, and stories.

This cultural immersion tour is suitable for all ages, with children 12 years and under participating for free. Participants should bring a jacket for cooler weather and wear comfortable clothing. With a minimum of 4 participants and a maximum of 20, this tour offers an intimate and engaging cultural experience.
