The Hike Collective invites you to join them on a guided 8km hike along the breathtaking Wadjemup Bidi network on Rottnest Island, WA. This exclusive tour offers a unique opportunity to explore the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Rottnest Island in a way that cannot be experienced with any other operators.
Your adventure begins at the Visitors Center on the Island, where you will check-in for your hike. From there, you will be transported to the starting point of your hike, where you will begin your journey along the Ngank Wen Bidi (Explore West End) trail.
As you hike, you will be regaled with amazing historical stories and secrets that cover the local heritage of the fascinating trail. You will explore a popular surfing spot at Radar Reef, take in the stunning views of the natural arch and crashing waves at Cape Vlamingh, and observe New Zealand fur seals frolicking in the waters from the viewing platform at Cathedral Rocks.
Mabel Cove, a beautiful protected bay, is the perfect place to cool off with a dip in the natural lagoon in the reef. After your hike, you will enjoy a relaxing bus ride back to settlement.
The Hike Collective provides friendly and knowledgeable, first aid trained tour guides, and access to all photos of the day. You also have the option to add return ferry tickets from Fremantle (B-Shed) to Rottnest and Rottnest - Fremantle, and an 8 km extension to traverse the northern beaches by foot.
We Wander is proud to partner with The Hike Collective to offer this inspiring and unforgettable hiking experience on Rottnest Island. Be sure to bring plenty of water, sun protection, snacks, comfortable clothes and shoes, and bathers to enjoy a summer dip or afternoon by the water.
