A delicious and fascinating guided walking tour of the iconic Queen Victoria Market. Taste the freshest produce, discover unique ingredients, explore the Market's history, learn about our sustainability measures and meet some of our beloved traders.

On this guided tour, you will wander through the heritage-listed Market food halls and visit some of the Market's best traders, indulging in an abundance of food as you go.

Two-hour tour includes generous tastings and Market shopping bag.

Please note that this is a walking tour. A moderate level of fitness is required with the ability to walk and stand unassisted for a minimum of 2 hours.

he history of the market was very interesting but the food tastings were exceptional. It is highly recommended that you don't have breakfast, because you are going to be very well fed. Seafood, kangaroo, bread, cheese, dips, chocolate, wine, fruit and finish with a sorbet. 2 hours of pure joy.

Our tour of Queen Victoria Market was certainly an ultimate foodie tour, thanks in large part, to our excellent tour guide. Because she has been a customer of the market for years and cooks with what she buys there, she brought a high level of authenticity to the experience. The tour was extremely well organized. Every stall we stopped at was expecting us; the vendors were charming and had interesting stories to tell, encouraged by our guide, who seemed to know each family's history; the tastes were beautifully set out and we were able to cover a great deal of the market during our allotted time. The tastes were very generous and explained well by each vendor.

I went on The Ultimate Foodie Tour today and it was absolutely worth it. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. I have been to Queen Vic Market many times and being able to go on a tour and gain deeper knowledge about the history of the Market, along with valuable insight and knowledge from the lovely traders and generous samples was well worth the price. The Tour Guides are a wealth of knowledge and incredibly friendly and helpful. Regardless of whether you are a local or an interstate/international visitor, everyone should do this tour. You honestly will not regret it!

A tour of Queen Victoria Market is an experience in itself and an awesome way to get a peek into the lifestyle of Australians. The market, with over 600 small businesses operating from its premises, and in existence for more than 140 years, offers you a variety of products for purchase, and, in the bargain, a great opportunity for people watching.
