Stand Up Paddle Boarding HQ, located in the Greater Melbourne area of Victoria, offers a variety of stand up paddle (SUP) experiences for all levels. As a We Wander partner, they provide a safe and nurturing environment for individuals to learn and master the sport of paddleboarding.

To join a SUP lesson, it is essential to be able to swim 50 meters. During the lesson, you will learn advanced paddle strokes, carving techniques, and how to safely and effectively navigate the bay. The instructors at Stand Up Paddle Boarding HQ are dedicated to teaching proper technique from the beginning, ensuring that you have the knowledge and skills to paddle on your own.

During a private lesson, you will learn about safety on the water, familiarization with SUP equipment, basic paddle strokes and turns, posture and position while paddling, and safe entry and exit from the water. You will also have the opportunity to learn advanced strokes for turning, discover the St Kilda paddling environment, and participate in a basic core fitness workout.

Stand Up Paddle Boarding HQ provides all necessary equipment, including a SUP board, leg rope, paddle, wetsuit (if required), lifejacket (if required), and rash vest. Private lessons are available for as early as 8 am, and it is recommended to take advantage of the favorable wind conditions in the morning.
