Premium Travel Photography Workshop

Sydney Photographic Workshops offers a travel photography course, a must for any aspiring travel photographer or documentary journalist. The course is run on various Saturdays throughout the year, starting at 11pm to 8:30pm during daylight saving time and 9pm to 6:30pm for the remainder of the year. The course aims to inspire and equip participants with the skills they need to develop a beautiful and stunning reportage of their travels.

The course begins with a presentation of outstanding imagery and instructional tutorial at the studio, followed by a day of shooting at various exciting locations around Sydney. Participants will be supervised, guided, and instructed by prime tutor, Benjamin Lee, and Head Tutor, Daniel Linnet. Both Ben and Daniel have impressive travel photography portfolios, having traveled extensively through Australia and various countries around the world.

The course covers a range of topics, including equipment familiarisation, apertures and focusing, compositional techniques, working with movement, viewpoints, portraiture techniques, social commentary, working with various ISOs, and working with light. The course is suitable for any Digital SLR or Mirrorless camera with interchangeable lenses.

The travel photography course includes two award-winning professional photographers, a host for the day, tutorial and objective brief, light refreshments throughout the day, catered lunch, location fees, and transport. The course starts and finishes at Sydney Photographic Workshops'' studio at 7 Mitchell Road, Alexandria, NSW, 2015, with transport provided to various locations around Greater Sydney.
