Dive into a new world of underwater exploration with the PADI Advanced Diver Course offered by Dive Locker Fremantle in Greater Perth, WA. This course is an excellent way to build on your diving skills and knowledge, all while in the company of one of their experienced instructors. With no exams, just diving, this course is a great follow-on from your Open Water course, providing you with more experience and confidence.
The course consists of five dives, including two core dives - Navigation and Deep (up to 30m) - and three elective dives. The elective dives include options such as Wreck, Photography, Fish ID, Search and Recovery, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Boat Diver, and Naturalist. The group decides on the dives at the commencement of the course, so you can choose what you want to experience.
During this course, you will learn important skills such as navigation, night diving, deep diving, and more. The night dive is usually the third dive, where you will learn the important things about planning night dives and diving your plan in the light of your dive torch.
The course schedule is as follows:
* Day 1: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm (2 x Shore Dives), 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm (1 x Night Dive)
* Day 2: 7:45 am - 5:00 pm (2 x Boat Dives to Rottnest Island, Western Australia)
To participate in this course, you must be a PADI Open Water Diver (or have a qualifying certification from another training organization), be 15 years old (12 for Junior Advanced Open Water Diver), and have a current diving medical if required.
As a We Wander partner, Dive Locker Fremantle provides students with the necessary equipment for the duration of the course, including a dive slate, safety sausage & knife, dive torch for night dives, and scuba diving gear. The course includes PADI eLearning access pass, online interactive course, air fills, hire of BCD, wetsuit, regulator, cylinder, mask, snorkel, and fins, glow stick/strobe for night dive, and certification card.
