This self-guided tour takes visitors on a journey through interactive and vibrant displays, showcasing the town''s evolution from its humble beginnings to the thriving community it is today.

As visitors wander through the exhibit, they will gain a deeper understanding of how Mount Isa''s rich mineral bounty and mining heritage have shaped the town and its multi-cultural society. A highlight of the display is the dual plasma depiction of the blending of indigenous and white perspectives, culminating in a powerful convergence of the didgeridoo and the modern lead stack that dominates the city skyline.

The Isa Experience also features the stunning Allan''s Outback Gems, a comprehensive rock collection donated by the ''Rock Man'' of Mount Isa, Ian Leslie Allen. This inspiring collection serves as a testament to Allen''s passion and provides visitors with a unique opportunity to explore the geological wonders of the region.

After exploring the indoor exhibits, visitors can step outside into the Outback Park, a creative landscape that captures the natural beauty of the surrounding area.
