With Subsurface Scuba, you can explore beautiful local reefs, such as Jew Shoal, Old Woman Island, and the Inner and Outer Gneerings, all reachable within 30 minutes by boat from Mooloolaba.

Jew Shoal, located in Noosa''s pristine Laguna Bay, features canyons, ridges, and bommies, with two main sites to explore. The first site showcases an array of reef fish, caves, gutters, and colorful hard and soft corals. The second site, the Pin, starts at seven meters and drops down to 16 meters, with plenty of ledges, walls, and crevices to explore. Seasonal visits from manta rays and grey nurse sharks make this site even more exciting.

Old Woman Island, with its shallow waters and dazzling array of marine life, is perfect for beginners and snorkelers. The Inner Gneerings reef system, located just offshore from Mooloolaba, boasts diverse dive spots with beautiful soft corals, black coral trees, and white coral whips, as well as a variety of marine life.

The Outer Gneering Shoals, located approximately 30 minutes by boat from Mooloolaba, is an open water site with good visibility and a diverse range of coral and sea life. More experienced divers will enjoy the complex structures of Magic Mountain, which features numerous gullies, ravines, bommies, swim-throughs, and pinnacles.
