Tasmanian Hikes invites you to join them on a 4 night / 5 day guided hike to Frenchman''s Cap, located in the stunning Freycinet & East Coast region of Tasmania. This medium to hard graded hike offers breathtaking views of Tasmania''s highest peak, Mt Ossa, Cradle Mountain, and Mt Jerusalem.
Your journey begins by crossing the Franklin River, followed by a walk through button grass plains and dense rainforest, culminating in the beautiful Lake Tahune, nestled below the towering 450 metre south east face of Frenchman''s Cap. The uphill walk to the summit is rewarded with spectacular views, making the effort well worthwhile.
On the fourth day, you will retrace your steps to the hut at Lake Vera for the night before making your way back to the Franklin River on the final day. Tasmanian Hikes has carefully curated this experience to showcase the natural beauty of Tasmania and provide a challenging and rewarding hike.
When booking this tour, Tasmanian Hikes offers flexible payment options, allowing you to pay in full or make a deposit at the time of booking. The deposit is $500 per guest. Cancellations made up to 8 weeks prior to the tour will receive a full refund, less the deposit. Cancellations made less than 8 weeks prior to the tour will not be eligible for a refund.
