Beach Sunrise With The Wallabies

The most picturesque time to see the wallabies and kangaroos on the beach at Cape Hillsborough is at Sunrise. Get up close and personal with these iconic Australian marsupials, waking up early is worth it!

We arrive at the national park at dawn to catch a glimpse of the wallabies and kangaroos that come to the shoreline to feed on mangrove seed pods washed up by the tide. Spend time walking along the shoreline and taking in all the beauty of the sunrise.

Our 23-seater air-conditioned bus allows a comfortable adventure in a small group environment as we take you to explore the Cape Hillsborough National Park, where the rainforest meets the sea.

Private charters on any day are also available upon request (a minimum amount is required).

All prices are per person in AUD and include GST, National Park, Great Barrier Reef Marine Park entry fees where applicable. Cancellations made less than 24hrs before departure will result in complete forfeiture of full price. We recommend you take out travel insurance covering illness, injury, loss of personal goods and the inability to travel due to weather. Customers should note that adventure travel involves risk. Whilst we make every effort to safeguard guests, we cannot be responsible for any damage, personal injury or loss due to the actions of passengers that are beyond our control.

Accordingly, Mackay Adventure Tours and Transfers shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any injury to person or property which is suffered or sustained by any passenger as a result of participation in any of its adventures, excepts for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. It is up to the participant to advise the team of food allergies or preferences at least one day prior to the tour.
