Upon arrival at the Garden Island Boat Ramp and Reserve, you''ll receive a single kayak, paddle, life vest, and a detailed map of the area. Their friendly staff will help you set up and provide safety instructions, as well as tips on the best spots to explore.
This kayaking experience is suitable for all ages, with children aged 8 and above welcome to participate, accompanied by an adult if under 18. The 1-person kayaks can accommodate individuals up to approximately 1.85m in height and 100kg in weight.
As you paddle through the mangrove creeks, keep an eye out for playful dolphins, and immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of the sanctuary. Note that, due to safety reasons, the Ships Graveyard is not accessible during kayak rentals, but can be visited through their Dolphin Sanctuary and Ships Graveyard Tour.
