WHAT DRIVES USIn 2017 Fastrack Racing and V8 Race Experience combined to form Experience Central, bringing together the best people, know-how and race cars from Australia's largest and longest running performance driving teams.Using experience gained from competing in championship motorsport for over 25 years, and delivering drive and ride experiences to more than 300,000 clients, we've now created a new and improved Fastrack V8 Race Experience.Motorsport is in our blood, the smell of it, the sound of it; it's more than a spectator sport to us. Our focus is to share the exhilaration of real race driving and the thrill of hot laps in a V8 race car. Motivated by our desire to introduce on-track performance driving to everyone in Australia, we've built race cars that make it easy for anyone with a licence to drive flat out on a championship racing circuit – and do it safely.We've discovered that even if someone is not a 'rev head', there's a magnetic attraction to the feeling of driving fast and testing your ability to control, at high speed, a powerful V8 Holden or Ford. We strongly believe that there's nothing more exciting than to drive an Australian-built V8 muscle car on a supercar championship circuit.If you're prepared to get out of your comfort zone and give it your best shot, we're confident that you'll surprise yourself by how well you go.Let us ignite the V8 racer within you!OUR TRACK RECORDFastrack Racing was founded in 1990 by Marshall Brewer, providing rides and drives in custom built race cars around the legendary Calder Park Road Circuit and Thunderdome in Melbourne. In 2012, Fastrack was transformed by new owners, George Elliot and David Maidment, investing in new experiences, forming alliances with V8 Supercar teams to build more high-spec race cars to stage experiences in the best interstate venues.V8 Race also had its origins in 1990 when Rod Dawson pioneered track driving experiences for his sponsors and their customers at Lakeside and Queensland Raceway, and the Thunderdome in Melbourne and Adelaide International. In 2004, Rod teamed up with his former sponsor, Greg Evans, and the V8 Race Experience expanded nationally and reached the pinnacle by staging the first drive experiences at Bathurst in 2010.After many years of being direct competitors, the four owners and two teams joined forces. Experience Central was created to bring together the best of Fastrack and V8 Race and invest in improving the client experience and also develop new exciting driving experiences.
